Detail of Zamalin Beach
The other popular and developed beach in Tribunj is Zamalin on the west side of the church hill. The concrete covered coast with terraces features gravel sections to simplify the access to the sea. Behind the seaside promenade pines trees secure the shade on Zamalin. As this beach is right next to the town, it can be quite crowded at times - and especially in the high season. Besides these two main beaches Sovlje, the small village attached to Tribunj on the western side also has its beach - a concrete covered one. Finally, there are the tiny beaches below the church hill, on its southern side, too.
One would not find hotels in Tribunj - except the one at the marina, reserved for their guests. Instead, quite some private apartments and rooms rented by locals can be found, as well as two small camps. The groceries, markets, bakeries for the daily needs are, of course, available in the settlement. Most of the restaurants and bars are located either on the island of the old town or in the area surrounding it. One of Croatia's best marinas, Marina Tribunj is found just next to the old town, on its eastern side.
